\u201cHe told me the house belongs to him now. He said I should get out before you came back because I\u2019ve already spent too many years living off what he considers his inheritance.\u201d<\/p>\n

For a moment, I simply stared at her.<\/p>\n

Our son had actually said those words.<\/p>\n

Ethan was thirty-two years old.<\/p>\n
