That sentence did something strange to me.<\/p>\n

My anger disappeared.<\/p>\n

I walked to a nearby trash can and placed the white lilies on top.<\/p>\n

When I dropped it into his palm, relief crossed his face.<\/p>\n

For the first time since seeing him, I smiled.<\/p>\n

Then I walked away.<\/p>\n

He thought the house was the most important asset connected to me.<\/p>\n
