My renovated boathouse.<\/p>\n

My kitchen.<\/p>\n

The lake house my great-aunt Beatrice had left specifically to me three years earlier.<\/p>\n

Ryan leaned closer.<\/p>\n

Mom said it proudly.<\/p>\n

My stomach turned cold.<\/p>\n
