The entire room erupted in laughter before I fully realized my husband had turned me into the joke of our anniversary dinner. Then Daniel raised his champagne glass even higher, looked directly at me, and said, \u201cCheers to the biggest mistake of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

He never mentioned that I had transferred $640,000 from the inheritance my father left me.<\/p>\n

He never told anyone whose spreadsheets secured the bank financing, whose risk models rescued two acquisitions, or whose signature appeared beside his on the original operating agreement.<\/p>\n
