Soon, a stadium staff member approached and explained that Ethan could rest in a quieter family room nearby before deciding whether he wanted to return to our seats.<\/p>\n

I welcomed the suggestion.<\/p>\n

Ethan had already started leaning against Chris.<\/p>\n

We followed them inside.<\/p>\n

After the roar of the stadium, the sudden quiet felt strange.<\/p>\n

We returned to our seats.<\/p>\n

No players approached.<\/p>\n

Nobody handed Ethan a signed football.<\/p>\n
