Dad claimed I had authorised him to manage the money because I was emotional and incapable of making responsible decisions.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I didn\u2019t,\u201d I said.<\/p>\n

I reminded him that after Daniel disappeared, I had asked only to stay at home for one night.<\/p>\n

He had refused because he believed I had embarrassed the family.<\/p>\n

Investigators distributed files containing forged acknowledgements, altered medical invoices, and rent paid to a company registered under Vanessa\u2019s maiden name.<\/p>\n

Vanessa finally lost control.<\/p>\n
