A few weeks later, Edward arranged a short trip outside the care home.<\/p>\n

He brought Benjamin back to the willow tree.<\/p>\n

Wren stayed several steps away while Edward pushed the wheelchair beneath the familiar branches before quietly giving us privacy.<\/p>\n

I knelt in the grass and placed a red carnation into Benjamin\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n
