My Fiancée Walked Down the Aisle in an Oversized Old Suit – When I Saw the Writing on the Label, I Broke Down in Tears

My fiancée kept her wedding dress secret for months, so I expected the usual dramatic reveal when the ceremony began. Instead, she walked down the aisle in an old black men’s suit, and I had no idea why until I saw the writing inside the cuff.

The morning of the wedding, I woke before my alarm.

My brother, Aaron, was my best man. He and two of my closest friends got ready with me at the venue.

About half an hour before the ceremony, Claire’s bridesmaid Jenna hurried past us looking stressed.

I leaned into the hallway.

“Is everything okay?”

Jenna stopped.

For a second, she seemed to be deciding what she could say.

Then she nodded. “Yeah. Claire’s fine.”

That wasn’t exactly what I’d asked.

But she walked away before I could respond.
