Less than a day after a judge finalized my divorce from Anthony I canceled his mother Eleanor and her platinum credit card. Anthony called me in an entitled rage to complain that she had been humiliated at Bergdorf Goodman when the card was declined. I calmly reminded him that Eleanor was no longer my financial responsibility and promptly blocked his number. Early the next morning my peaceful freedom was interrupted by furious pounding on my apartment door. I looked through the peephole to find Eleanor and Anthony standing in the hallway demanding that I reactivate her luxury spending account while my neighbor Mister Henderson watched from a distance.
