For most of her life, Kerstin Tristan, a 56-year-old grandmother from Germany, never imagined she would become famous for her tattoos. In fact, she once strongly disliked body art and could not understand why people chose to cover their skin with ink. Tattoos simply were not part of her world, and she never considered getting one herself.

That all changed in 2015 when curiosity encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone. Wanting to try something different, Kerstin decided to get her first tattoo. What started as a small experiment quickly became something much more meaningful than she ever expected.

After her first experience, she discovered a passion for tattoos and self-expression. The artwork gave her a new sense of confidence and allowed her to showcase her personality in a unique way. Before long, she began planning additional designs and transforming her appearance piece by piece.
